Who’s ready to eat a ridiculous amount of food, take a quick snooze (aka sleep the entire afternoon,) and watch football?! We, at BH, sure are!
It’s hard to believe Thanksgiving is but a day away…
Chances are, you’ve made a few trips to the grocery store, have been busy finalizing holiday plans, and baking an endless amount of pumpkin pie to gear up for the big day…but have you taken a moment to think about what you’re thankful for this Thanksgiving?
It’s easy to get caught up in the hustle and bustle of not only the holiday season, but of life itself. We tend to get swept up in our thoughts, our jobs, the complications in our lives… and rarely pause to think about the things that we love and cherish — or the things that are actually going well.
It’s for this reason we want to dedicate this blog post solely to the things we are thankful for at BH. As we take a moment to pause and reflect on the things that are so near and dear to hearts, we hope you will do the same.
Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!
I am thankful for my family and friends, getting together, having food, drinks and lots of laughs! I am also very thankful for my job at BH, working with such great people, and having an owner who is so giving to his employees. Life is good! I hope my BH family has a wonderful Thanksgiving as well.
Ramona Anderson is an AP Accountant with BH. In her free time, she loves spending time in her backyard, enjoying her pond, spending time with co-workers, friends, and family (especially her grandson Gavin,) relaxing, and listening to music.
My family and friends are the most important things in my life. (My “family” includes my residents, my BH family and immediate family!) Thanksgiving is a great reminder of how important having these support systems is. Days would be empty without the unconditional love those people in our lives give to us … and who isn’t grateful for turkey? 😉
Jennifer Dubeck is Fountain Square Apartments’ property manager. With three children, she is always on the move, whether it’s with Girl Scouts, Cub Scouts, band concerts, or book clubs. In the midst of that, Jennifer’s family still finds time to help out in the community! If her family doesn’t keep her busy enough, she can be found traveling to different properties, and helping with special projects remotely as part of her position with BH. She says there’s never a dull moment in her life!
I am most thankful for my life and the people in it. This Thanksgiving is unlike any other, as my husband and I are spending our first Thanksgiving as husband and wife in our new home… with our friends, family and two pups!
LeeAnne Koehrsen has been with BH for almost two years, which she says has gone by fast and has been an exciting experience! She started out in leasing, and now recruits for the entire company. She loves spending time with her family, taking the pups for walks, playing tennis and going to hockey games.
I am thankful to have amazing friends and family that have been there for me throughout my life. I am also thankful to have a job that I enjoy, and that I am allowed to work with so many unique people on a daily basis.
Jason Thornton has been with BH since October of 2007, when he worked as an on-site marketing and leasing manager. He is an “outdoors kind of guy” and says you will find him on a lake (or pond hoppin’), on a golf course, hiking, mountain-biking, or at the park with his dog, Tucker. He attended Oklahoma State University.
Thank you for reading this week’s edition of the BH Blog. If you haven’t already, try and take a moment to think about what you’re grateful for this holiday. (It’s a guaranteed mood-booster, if nothing else!) From all of us at BH, we hope you have a safe and happy Thanksgiving!
Want to join in the fun?
Next week, we’re featuring your “greatest gifts.” Do you have a special keepsake someone gave you for your birthday, during the holiday season… or just because? We want to hear about it! Send your submissions and photos to BHNews@BHManagement.com
