Non-Candy Treats for your Trick-or-Treaters

Candy is the traditional go-to to give out to all of your trick-or-treaters, but why not try something different this year? You’ll be the place to remember and definitely stand out to all the kids!

  1. Stickersstickers
Kids love stickers! They may not be edible, though some are, they will last longer and are sure to entertain.

  1. Coloring Books
More than just kids love coloring. It’s a fun and easy way to pass time for all ages, and again, will last longer than candy. Hand out small Halloween themed coloring books this year!

  1. Homemade Treats

All the trick-or-treaters will be expecting candy, but why not give them a different treat? Make some cookies, or rice crispy treats, or whatever can be delicious and made in big quantities easily! They will be pleasantly surprised.

  1. Mini Water Bottles
This doesn’t seem that fun, but at the end of the night, after they’ve walked all around the town, they will be happy to have water to drink while they relax and count their stash.

  1. Dress Up Rings
You can get dress up rings in big quantities for next to nothing! Fill two bowls with different themes; one with costume jewelry and one with spider rings (or whatever your store may have). This way, you’ll have a ring that everyone will like!

  1. Mini Flashlights halloween-flashlight-retail
Most kids I know love flashlights. It is an easy way to step into a fun make-believe game. On the flip side, they are most likely trick-or-treating when it’s dark so a flashlight would be pretty handy to them as soon as they get it!

  1. Pretzels
After all that candy, the kids will need something a little salty to counteract the sweet. Mini pretzel bags are perfect for that, and some kids will even prefer them over the candy!

  1. Halloween Themed Toys
In the spirit of the season, give away some toys that are perfect for a person who loves the spookiness of Halloween. Fake fangs, bat clappers, sticky hands, fake spiders, and even Halloween themed rubber duckies. Having an assorted bowl of these fun treats will ensure you have something for everyone!

  1. Temporary Tattoos 15-cool-small-fake-halloween-themed-tattoo-ideas-for-kids-women-2016-3
After a fun night of trick-or-treating that has been built up for months, the next can be a bit of a bummer sometimes. Temporary tattoos let them continue with the Halloween spirit for a little bit longer.

  1. Glow Toys
There’s no better time to get glow toys than when you’re walking around at night and need to see or be seen by your parents. There are so many fun ways you can give glow toys to whoever stops at your door. Glow sticks, glow bracelets, glow necklaces, glow rings, glow fangs, glow slime, glow sticky eyes, glow cups, and sooooo many more!
